每个地方装下 5 张最心动的照片、一句话和日期，挑一个路牌、霓虹或图钉立在地图上。Five favourite photos, a line and a date — then pick a sign, neon or pin to plant on the map.
寄给好友Send to friends
带照片的章会寄到好友的信箱；评论像小纸条一样轻轻飘在地图标记上。Stamps with photos arrive in friends' feeds; comments drift like tiny notes over the map marker.
冲印一座城Print a city
在暗房里把一座城市的足迹冲印成竖版、方形或故事比例的图片，保存或分享。In the darkroom, print a whole city of footprints as a portrait, square or story image.

注册账号Sign up
点「注册」，填写邀请码、邮箱和至少 8 位的密码，勾选同意条款（需年满 16 周岁）。我们会寄一封验证邮件，点开里面的链接就完成了。
Tap “Sign up” and enter your invite code, email and a password of at least 8 characters, and accept the terms (16+). Open the link in the verification email and you're in.

签发你的旅行护照Issue your passport
第一次登录要填护照资料：一个 ID（3–20 位小写字母、数字或下划线，好友靠它找到你）、名字、国家，出生地和生日选填（生日只有自己可见）。系统会随机分配一位旅伴当头像，可以一直换到满意为止。
On first sign-in, fill in your passport: an ID (3–20 lowercase letters, digits or _ — friends find you by it), a name and a nationality. Place of birth and birthday are optional (birthday stays private). You get a random travel companion as your avatar — shuffle until you like it.

一层层走进地图Walk into the map
点地图上的国家，进入省 / 州，再进入城市。也可以直接在左上角搜索国家、城市，甚至具体地点（比如 King's College Chapel）。
Click a country to enter its regions, then its cities. Or search from the top-left for countries, cities and even specific places (e.g. King's College Chapel).

在城市里按住地图任意位置，墨圈走完一圈，邮戳就落下了。中途松手会取消。搜索到的地点可以直接点「盖个章」。
Inside a city, press and hold anywhere on the map. When the ink ring closes, the postmark lands; let go early to cancel. Searched places have a “Stamp it” button.

写一张明信片Write the postcard
盖章后会翻开一张明信片：正面放照片（最多 5 张，可设封面），背面写名字、一句话、日期，再挑选地图上的样式——路牌、旗帜、霓虹、印章或图钉，以及咖啡、博物馆、海边等图标。内容会自动保存。
A postcard opens: photos on the front (up to 5, with a cover), and on the back a name, a line, the date, and how it looks on the map — sign, flag, neon, stamp or pin, plus icons like coffee, museum or beach. Everything autosaves.

加好友Add friends
打开「好友」，输入对方的 ID 发送申请，对方接受后就能互相看到所有章和照片。打开「在地图上显示好友的足迹」，好友的明信片会叠在你的地图上；也可以只看某一位。
Open “Friends”, enter their ID and send a request. Once accepted, you see each other's stamps and photos. Turn on “Show friends on my map” to overlay their postcards — or show just one friend.

动态与评论Feed & comments
只有带照片的章才会作为明信片寄到好友的「动态」里，单纯盖章不会打扰别人。好友可以评论，评论会以走马灯的小纸条形式出现在地图标记上。
Only stamps with photos are sent to friends' feeds as postcards — a bare stamp stays quiet. Friends can comment, and comments scroll as tiny notes on the map marker.

私信与群聊Messages & groups
和好友互寄航空信：发文字、emoji，或把自己的章转发过去，能看到对方是否已读。也可以拉好友建群（最多 20 人），群消息只有群成员可见。
Trade airmail with friends: text, emoji, or one of your stamps, with read receipts. Start a group of up to 20 friends — group messages are visible to members only.

冲印城市截图Print a snapshot
在城市页点「截图」进入暗房，选择竖版、方形或故事比例，把这座城里所有去过的地方冲印成一张图，保存到本地。
On a city, tap “Snapshot” to enter the darkroom. Choose portrait, square or story and print every place you've been there into a single image.

设置与数据Settings & data
在头像菜单的「设置」里切换语言和五套邮政主题色（航空信、海岸明信片、森林邮局、暗房胶片、夜航），按年份和地点打包下载照片，下载账号数据，或注销账号。
In Settings (under your avatar), switch language and one of five postal themes — Airmail, Coastal postcard, Forest post, Darkroom, Night flight — download photos by year and place, export your data, or delete your account.

为了让每一张明信片都值得被寄出，也为了保护服务不被滥用，Dear Elsewhere 设了一些额度。超出时会有提示，第二天自动恢复。 So every postcard is worth sending — and to keep the service safe from abuse — Dear Elsewhere has a few quotas. You'll see a note when you hit one; it resets the next day.

怎么拿到邀请码？How do I get an invite code?
Dear Elsewhere 目前是朋友之间的小站，请向邀请你的朋友要一个邀请码。
Dear Elsewhere is a small place among friends for now — ask the friend who invited you.
收不到验证邮件怎么办？The verification email never came.
先看看垃圾邮件文件夹，再在注册页点「没收到？重新发送」。一直收不到的话，请联系邀请你的朋友。
Check your spam folder, then tap “Didn't get it? Resend”. If it still doesn't arrive, tell the friend who invited you.
为什么我盖的章没有出现在好友动态里？Why didn't my stamp show up in friends' feeds?
只有带照片的章才会作为明信片寄出。给这个地方加上至少一张照片，点「收进足迹 · 寄给好友」即可。
Only stamps with photos are sent as postcards. Add at least one photo, then tap “Keep & send to friends”.
没网的时候能用吗？Does it work offline?
可以浏览已经加载的内容；盖章和加照片需要联网。已有的修改会排队，联网后自动同步到云端。
You can browse what's already loaded; stamping and adding photos need a connection. Pending changes queue up and sync once you're online.
超出额度会怎样？What happens when I hit a limit?
会弹出一句提示，告诉你什么时候恢复。照片额度是按 24 小时滚动的，其余每日额度按账号时区的第二天恢复；没传完的内容会自动续传。
You'll see a note saying when it resets. Photo frames return on a rolling 24-hour basis; other daily limits reset the next day in your time zone, and unfinished uploads resume automatically.
能下载原图吗？Can I download my original photos?
云端保存的是压缩后的版本（长边 1600 像素）。在「设置 → 下载照片」可按年份和地点打包成 zip，原图请自己保管。
The cloud keeps resized copies (1600 px long edge). Settings → Download photos packs them into a zip by year and place — keep your originals yourself.
怎么注销账号？How do I delete my account?
头像菜单 → 设置 → 注销账号。所有数据会立即永久删除，建议先下载照片和数据。
Avatar menu → Settings → Delete account. Everything is permanently removed at once, so download your photos and data first.
